TBLS Meeting Announcement
 
The next meeting of the Tampa Bay Listening Society will be held on Tuesday, September 6th, at 7:30 p.m., at the home of Russ and Judy Garvey.  Yes, this is the day after Labor Day, but we have not had much of a turnout when changing the meeting day, so we'll follow tradition here, and we should have a good turnout (but only if you, YES, YOU, show up).  Russ' usual listening room/cockpit will be operational, and he will be exposing, er, experimenting, er, introducing us to his new home theater set-up (not the one in North Carolina).
 
Reminders: 
 
1) Please keep checking out the blog, as Jim has suggested; the content is varied, and very interesting. Thanks to Alan Nastir, and others, for their contributions. 
2) The election for TBLS President will be held in December.  Please consider who you would like to have lead us for the next year.  Nominations may be sent to Jim Maher.
3) Annual dues are now due.  You may send them to Michael Burger, or give them to Michael or me at the meeting.  Thanks to everyone who has already paid.
4) If you know of a musician you would like to have appear at a meeting, please send me the pertinent (as well as the impertinent) information. 
5) Meetings of the TBLS are held on the first Tuesday of each month, unless that day is a Holiday, so please plan accordingly. 
 
Note:  Please reread the most recent President's Corner-the only response received so far has been Peter Singh's Top 10 list, and while that's very much appreciated, a more concerted effort by more of us would really benefit all of us collectively.
